Day 6

Mark 3: 5
He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man, ‘Stretch out your hand.’ He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored.

Mark 6: 6, 31, 34
He was amazed at their lack of faith.

Then Jesus went around teaching from village to village.

31
Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, ‘Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.’

32
So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place.
33 But many who saw them leaving recognised them and ran on foot from all the towns and got there ahead of them. 34 When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.

Mark 7: 34
34 He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him, ‘Ephphatha!’ (which means ‘Be opened!’).

Mark 8: 12, 33
12
He sighed deeply and said, ‘Why does this generation ask for a sign? Truly I tell you, no sign will be given to it.’

33
But when Jesus turned and looked at his disciples, he rebuked Peter. ‘Get behind me, Satan!’ he said. ‘You do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.’

Mark 10: 14
14
When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

Mark 11: 12
12 The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry.
