St Mary's Church

Regular Events

Prayer meetings A group meets to pray online on Mondays from 8-9 am. Contact us for details.

A new prayer meeting began in January on the first Sunday of the month at 6.30 pm.

Prayer days take place throughout the year.

House Groups meet at different times throughout the week for Bible study, fellowship, prayer and encouragement. If you’re interested, find out more by coming to church in the first instance.

Coffee Shop (Tuesdays 10 am-12 pm in church)

Provides a meeting place for anyone in the community to meet with friends old and new. Enjoy a cuppa, catch up with others, pick up a book from the table, play a game … drop in anytime!

Church Open (Wednesdays 9.30-11 am in church)

A chance to visit St Mary’s for some quiet prayer space or to see this historic building where people have worshipped God for centuries.

Bell Ringing We have a band of ringers who ring for services. There are 38 spiral steps up to the ringing room! It takes a few months of weekly practice to learn to handle a bell and then to ring it in order. Our ringers range from 11 to 82 years old. You are very welcome to come to see and to have a go if you like, whatever your age or strength.
